Pie Crust

Sorry, no directions on what to do with dough once you mix it; this is typical of the old family recipes. See Martha Stewart pie crust recipe for more explicit directions.

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp. salt

4 T. shortening

Rub through your hands until it forms a ball. Then add not quite a half-cup of water. Mix well. This is enough for a double crust.
