Hot Cereal for Two

Slow cooking oatmeal (or thick oats) and another hot cereal (7 grain, steel cut oats, Scottish oatmeal) totaling 2/3 of a cup

Dried cranberries

Peanut butter If you like rough textured oatmeal bring water to a boil first, if you like smooth oatmeal, add cereal to water and bring to a boil. Add salt. After bringing to a boil over medium heat, turn to low, keep covered and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add dried cranberries after about 6 minutes. When done take off the burner, keep covered and let it set for 3 to 5 minutes. Add peanut butter before serving if you like, (which all LeRouxs do).
