Cranberry Apple Shrub

½ cups cranberries

1 medium apple

2 rosemary sprigs

10-15 sage leaves

1 ½ cup apple cider vinegar

¾ cup turbinado sugar

1 lemon rind

1 orange rind

In a blender puree all ingredients except for the citrus rinds. Make sure the rinds are scrapped of the white pith and add them to a large mason jar. Add the puree, screw the lid on and give it a good shake. Store the mixture in a cool dark place for one week giving it a shake once a day. After a week strain the mixture through fine cheese cloth, a fine mesh colander, or a nut milk bag. Refrigerate your shrub for up to a month. It makes any drink extra good, some common uses are to add about 1oz of shrub to 3 oz of prosecco (or sparkling water).
